In Selenic Shadow, the HP of bosses is not displayed. However, with the Ankh Pendant equipped, boss HP is displayed at the bottom of the screen. The Ankh Pendant cannot be equipped or removed during a boss fight, however.

- It is implied that the Ankh Pendant may be sentient, as evidenced by the text displayed when trying to equip/unequip it during a boss fight.
